Stress Reduction Research

Recording and ListeningAssesments 

Please compelte the following five assessments in the order they are listed. 
 
You will need your Study ID number you were assigned, which is located in the email sent on 9/16/16. 
 
The consent form is located here.  Please download a copy for your records.
  1. Getting to Know You (do not complete)
  2. Self Compassion Scale
  3. Perceived Stress Scale
  4. Mindfulness Attention Awareness Scale
  5. Attention Network Test
  • For the Attention Network Test, please follow the NEW directions (choose MAC or PC below)
  • For MAC users
    • Download the zip files using  the Green Button (right side)
    • Find and open CRSD-ANT-master.zip
    • Find the "CRSD-ANT" folder- there should be a file named "index.html". Open this file with the Firefox Web browser.
    • Choose fullscreen
    • Follow the instructions
      • ID: fill in the study ID number given to you.
      • Age: in years and months
      • Gender
      • Session #: 3 ( also add the date you completed in brackets)
      • Study ID: same as ID (see number 1)
      • Group ID: training or control (whatever you are assigned)
      • Target type: select 'arrow' from the drop down menu
      • Monitor diagonal: If you know the monitor size of your computer or laptop, select the appropriate size from the drop down menu. if you cannot figure out then select 17" as the option. Monitor size is usually the diagonal length of your computer screen (from top left to your bottom right).
    • SAVE both the Summary and Complete Data as csv 
    • Email to aphasia.uga@gmail.com

  • For PC users (click HERE for pictures​)
    • Download the zip files using  the Green Button (right side) and choose save file
    • Find and open CRSD-ANT-master.zip
    • Right click on the zip file, and choose “Extract All”
    • Click on Browse (to select a place to download)
    • Select “Desktop” and then click “OK” and Extract
    • Open the desktop folder and select “CRSD-ANT master”
    • Find the file named "index.html"
    • Right click and select “Open with” and then Firefox
    • Choose fullscreen
    • Follow the instructions
      • ID: fill in the study ID number given to you.
      • Age: in years and months
      • Gender
      • Session #: 1 ( also add the date you completed in brackets)
      • Study ID: same as ID (see number 1)
      • Group ID: training or control (whatever you are assigned)
      • Target type: select 'arrow' from the drop down menu
      • Monitor diagonal: If you know the monitor size of your computer or laptop, select the appropriate size from the drop down menu. if you cannot figure out then select 17" as the option. Monitor size is usually the diagonal length of your computer screen (from top left to your bottom right).
    • SAVE both the Summary and Complete Data as csv
